Verbal Duel:- Debate Competition

Event Summary

The competition attracted over 150+ entries, out of which only top 60 participants were shortlisted, forming more than 30 teams that engaged in spirited debates. Each team showcased their ability to construct arguments, rebut opposing views, and maintain composure under pressure. The event was held in the A2 Seminar Hall, which was set up to facilitate effective communication and audience engagement.

The organization of the competition was exemplary, with a streamlined registration process and adherence to the event schedule. The Finance team managed the budget efficiently, ensuring all resources were allocated appropriately. Feedback from participants and attendees highlighted the event’s success in fostering a competitive yet respectful environment for dialogue. Overall, the Verbal Duel Debate Competition not only enhanced students' debating skills but also reinforced YOC’s standing as a leading platform for cultivating public speaking and leadership abilities.
